The fashion brand Oh Polly is joining forces with all-electric courier service Packfleet to provide London-based shoppers with environmentally-friendly fashion deliveries.
The move comes amid much discussion about London’s high pollution levels, with mayor Sadiq Khan introducing new ultra-low emission zones in the capital. Each of Packfleet’s vehicles can be charged with 100% renewable energy.
The move will see the courier handle all of the fashion retailer’s orders within the M25.
Other retailers, including major supermarkets such as Asda and Waitrose, and food delivery service Just Eat have also embraced electric vehicle home delivery systems.

Oh Polly head of customer service Alix McShane said the fashion brand is “really excited” to be partnering with Packfleet for electric-powered deliveries.
“Fashion is often considered to be one of the worst industries for the planet, so it’s welcoming to see Oh Polly implementing positive changes, from installing solar panels at the Bromborough warehouse and office to their regular charitable donations,” said Packfleet co-founder and ceo Tristan Thomas.
“Now, Oh Polly are looking to perfect their customer experience with carbon-neutral, customer focused deliveries,” he added.
